Each of these column carries the name of the soldiers who died while defending what was then the Malaya......
They came here as a young adult and died here in Malaysia aforeign land... while fighting the Japanese Army.
They died fighting for a foreign country...which is not related to them.
They died while protecting a foreign country...which they have no interest in....
but the most important, they came as soldier, died as hero here....in Malaysia

This is a pack of "Nasi Lemak" one of Malaysia's delicacy. I had this for breakfast the other day and took a shot at it couze it's been a long time since I had such a great one.

Had to force myself to eat a third packet in order to take this shot.
 

Walla nasi lemak... nice rice cooked in coconut milk with sambal... 

Here's how it should be eaten..well my style :) 

Z Can Cook

Other than the jelly powder....Custard powder are used in today's recipe.



Mix the jelly powder with water and boil it.
Put in some pandan leaves for extra fragrance



Mix 3 tablespoon of custard powder with coconut milk and 3 cup of boiled jelly water.
Slow fire cook it until it become glue-like texture...




Next put in some colouring... for this, i put in red and green colour..while the original colour of custard is yellow.



Next scoop and drop in the coloured custard mixture into the jelly water
which was pour into a container earlier.



Leave it to cool down and then refrigerate it

Went to Penang for the holidays. Manage to slot in some photography sessions while visiting my grandparents. The first shot was taken upon arriving Penang. 

Here are some of the stuff taken from my grandparents home. Everything is very much the same each time I visit them. There's pretty much nothing to do there but to sleep so I got bored and took out my camera for a short shooting session. Here's a picture of the hallway light bulb.
