Regular cemeteries always seem like a peaceful place (in the daylight -- I stay out of all cemetaries at night). But there is something so sad and regretful of army/military cemetaries, for the reason they exist is the same for each person...war. :(
I really appreciated your series. It is a lovely tribute to the physical tributes/memorials left all over the world for this one gargantuan war. I echo David Kapp's comments above...I hope we never see this kind of destruction and warfare again.
Such bloodshed. Such sacrifice.
k-> regular cemetries of asian never really look like peaceful place...is scarry whether is day or night time .
