Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum

Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, formally known as the Tuol Svay Prey High School. It was only converted ad concentration camp, a prison when Khmer Rouge take over......

Take a tour at the museum, with the guide ...and it will send chills down your spine....

The remaining prison cells, the blood stained mosaic floor, the rusty barb wired, the life pictures, combining with the detailed explanation and description of the whole period... for a moment.... for a moment, i thought i was there...

Read more from wikipedia on this...

The grave of the last 14 prisoners in Toul Sleng concentration camp......
they were found dead....killed hours before liberation army stormed the capital of Phnom Penh.

See the impact on that pillow?? god knows what was used to hit and torture the prisoner....

Metal rodes were supposed to be tied on the legs and arms....

The picture on the wall showed how the prisoner died when they were found by the coalition army.... see that old battery box...it is the toilet...

This is one of the cell... big...very big comparing to the cell we will see later... this is for the VVIP... the important prisoner... a cell and a torture chamber..... creepy isnt it?

The rules and regulations in Toul Sleng as translated from cambodian language......

This building was fenced up when some prisoners kill themselves by leaping of the building... hence barb wired all the way from ground to top, and it was connected to life electricity at night. Talk about maximum security, move away Guatanamo Bay.

i like the edges of the wall

This is not your usual toilet cubicle in your school.. this was the prison cell for the "educated cambodians" in Toul Sleng

I didn't take any pictures in fear that "extras" will appear in my photos when developed (no digicam yet last time). This Pol Pot regime has only just ended and it's still very new. Barely 30 years old. My mind still wonders...
