Ledang National Park

Ledang National Park @ Ledang Forest Reserved

The national park is situated in Tangkak in the state of Johore and it is about 2.5 hours from Kuala Lumpur. The centre piece of this national park is the Mount Ledang also known as Mount Ophir. We were there on Saturday for a 2 hour hike up to the waterfalls...
skipped the peak though due to time constraint ... another time perhaps.

Mount Ledang is the 64th highest and 6th hardest in Malaysia...it is also the Most Climbed mountain in Malaysia too!

This is a signboard informing trekkers that they are in the Ledang Forest Reserve or Hutan Simpan Ledang in Malay language.

the begining of the trail...

the waterfall pool at the foot hill

some steps....

tall huge trees

second part of the trail...no more steps... just roots, mud, stones....

Gorgeous sunlights through the trees

some other 'man-made natural' steps

View from 1900 ft

More pics of waterfalls will follow later....
