the lantern has a great glow with the light inside. Do some people still use a traditional flame to light them?

david kapp-> not really ..is quite dangerous though... unless is on the mid autumn festival, where chinese all over the world celebrated by eating 'mooncake' and playing paper lantern which was lighted by candles....
