Anybody see their shoes?

This is a delicacy for chinese everywhere in the world....
first they dried it, then they deep fried it
and it become crispy...
then they cook it...or steam it...or eat it raw as salad...

hmm yummy...

p/s: this was taken on the crab island too...notice the background wooden houses?

Ian's right...they do look like hands. And those hands seem like they are trying to make a very impolite hand gesture. lol!!! :)

Z, interesting angle on this shot. Lots of good texture too! ;)

In directly ate it before. Usually find this in soups served with the chicken rice you buy in the shops.

Hi Z, no I haven't tried it before, but I think I would try it if I had the chance one day. There's not much on a chicken that scares me... Now cow eyeballs or brains or stuff, I think 'no, definitely not!' lol!

Well I had the same feeling as you guys about chicken feet till a Chinese friend invited me in Manila's Chinatown. He ordered a lot of "strange" food including chicken feet. The feet were steamed and believe it or not it was... DELICIOUS !!!
Morality: always try before you say you find it disgusting. You may have a good surprise!
