It seems like a fabulous work of art Z. Curious this mixtures of influences over there. A mosque (Muslim) in a place with what seems like a sanskrit-hindu name (Putra - Son, Jaya - Victory, I think). Indeed a tryly multicultural place. I hope I´ll visit soon!
I think your right, the architecture is amazing. Looking back through the rest of the series show some great detail and thought went into the design and construction.
milan-> indeed it is....putrajaya is a purposely buildt city...
i believe u r very CORRECT....putrajaya is actually in malay language..and malay language did adopt some of the words from sanskrit...
putra here means PRINCE...hence son is correct
jaya here means VICTORY....
david-> there are not much properly planned city in malaysia... so everything in putrajaya was designed for the people of malaysia...a showcased city i believed...from the mosque to the bridge....from the park to the bicycle lane
Milan is an expert... :)
