Tribal Encounters
Parrot Fish
Enroute to Kudat from the city of Kota Kinabalu,
we passed by several towns and villages of the indigenous people of Sabah.
And we went to one of the popular local morning market(Tamu), in Sikuati
and these shots were taken at the Tamu.
The Tamu is kind of a meeting place for the locals and the tribal people.
People come from all over the place to sell and market and to purchase goods ONCE a week.
Things sold in the Tamu are exotic, like these parrot fish.

Interesting pictures Z., gives you quite the feel of being there. I hope those fish lose that blue colour when cooked :))) It would look weird otherwise to eat it!
milan-> yes... the colour went off...
somehow become grey when you cooked it....
apparently it is quite expensive though
