Luzern, has been recently voted as Switzerland most beautiful city.... ahead of Zurich(2nd) and Bern(3rd).

Luzern is perfectly situated at the edge of Vierwaldstatersee, or simply Lake Luzern, in central Switzerland. Luzern is surrounded... almost entirely by gorgeous Alps, and the scenery is simply breathtaking!

A walk in the neat old town, a stroll by the lakeside promenade, a dip into the ever refreshing lake, a chat over a cup of coffee at the many cafes, or simply resting on the many available benches, you will never cease to be amazed by how beautiful Luzern is. :D

Some amazing shot of the icy world from my journey to the Top of Europe, Jungfraujoch, Central Switzerland. A fantastic wonderful journey itself.... though the weather was real bad up at the peak. Nevertheless, there were tonnes of amazing views along the journey...

Spring is here..... and there are lots and lots of different flowers blooming at all places...
to me... coming from tropical country, these flowers are all very new to me...

i was mesmerized by the vibrant colours of these flowers.... amazed by the look of it....
and was somehow stunned.... on how nature works...

anyone could help me with naming it??

3) these are from huge trees

4) awesome blueish coloured flower... also found on fields.. seems to be "wild"

Short hike on Rigiblick

The end of my hike... there is a cafe here...and they served good chocolate cake...
i had a coffee and cake before i left...

from centralplatz in Zurich, take tram no:6 to the direction of Zoo. Get off at the Zoo, and follow the sign for Rigiblick.. then the trails take you about 50minutes to reach this place where you can reward yourself with some coffee and cakes.

To go back to the city, take the Seilbahn, somesort of furnicular train, just opposite of this building. Then a short walk down hill, and you are back to the city centre...

it is amazing and it is so easy to be in the nature, just 10mins away in any direction in a swiss city, you will be most probaly somewhere out in a field, lake, hill, parks, farmland, or a combination of all.

Zug, the capital city of the Canton of Zug, a small charming little city by the Lake Zug at the foot of Zugerberg. (notice the amount of "zug" mentioned?)

One of the smallest canton in Switzerland, with more than 20% of its population are foreigners ( i m part of the statistic). It has the lowest tax in Switzerland, and a lot of multinational companies setup their operations here...... oh... at the time of posting this.. i live just 5 minutes train ride away from the city...

A narrow, hidden lane... but overall, it looks mostly like this on a Sunday... perfect for a relaxing stroll on this quaint city

The zytturm, clock tower.... tourists are allowed to go up the tower...
the trick is that, there is a police station on the left side of this tower... what you need to do is that to go to the police, and mention to them that you need the key.

Then, you will be required to submit your passport or identification, and the police will then pass you a key to the tower...... nice.. a whole clock tower by yourself... a little scarry and eerie... hehe

Xitang, a really wonderful lovely watertown. Too bad that i was there only for an hour or so...
that is really... the very downside of joining a tour group...

But with airasia flying to hangzhou now, hope that one day i will be able to visit this place again.

And on the poor quality and grainy pictures... i am a dumb-ass that i never realize that my camera was set to ISO800... damn... my whole collections gone!

Most of the city centre of Bern is being recognized by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
So be prepare to soak in between the beautifully decorated houses, impressive churches, elaborate clock towers, lovely gardens, narrow cobblestone alley

Built in 1333, it is Europe's oldest wooden bridge and one of the main attraction of Switzerland.

bascially for the malaysian chinese wedding...
we need to bring a basket of gift when the groom goes to the bride house....

so first you need a pork leg.... wrap it up with red colour paper..
red is good for chinese... fortune, wealth, good luck and etc...

then put in some fruits... and decorate the basket....
these is the last set of gift that will only be bring to the bride's house
previouslywe have sent in 2 bottle of brandy, gold jewellery, fruits, and some money.....

then together with your entourage...you go to the bride's house... in my case...10 cars went together..... once there, you need to go through a pre-designed tasks,challenge prepared by the friends of bride..... only that you complete those tasks, you are allowed tos ee your wiife and to bring her home....

in this case...we are required to get signature from 6 neighbours andto have them signed, and write wishes for the newlywed...

once everything completed... and more and more traditional ceremony, then we finished it of wiht a banquet in local hotel... and we have confetti and more brandy,beer, whisky and a 10-course chinese dinner with appetier, main course and dessert...

1) toh yuen 5 hot combination (5 different type of appetizers)
2) shark fin's soup with dried scallop and seafood...

4) steam pomphret fish
5) braised mushroom with fish bladder
6) 2 varieties prawn, prawn salad, and prawn skewer
